If you are at all like me, you have probably got to the point where you just can't stand seeing another ad on TV or in the newspaper, saying how this new great magical ingredient will remove your wrinkles in 2 or 3 days without fail.
Really, they must think we are all either naive or morons. You don't get rid of 50 or 60 years worth of wrinkles in a couple of days. However, this is not to say you can't improve on them.
Using a natural wrinkle reducer with plenty of good natural active ingredients can make some inroads into your wrinkles. But, it takes some time.
The biggest issue is how many and how deep are your wrinkles. If you are in the 30 to 40 age group and have only a few fine lines and small wrinkles you could expect to reduce or even remove them in a reasonably short period of time. However, you will still need to be conscientious and apply creams morning and nighttime.
Now if you're in the 50 to 60 age group with a lot of deep wrinkles that's a different matter. Yes, there is no doubt with some of the new natural substances that are proven to grow new skin cells, you can get an improvement in the shape and depth of your wrinkles.
To honestly believe you can actually remove deep wrinkles altogether with a skin cream is getting a little fanciful. In my opinion you would have to resort to botox or collagen injections, or even facial surgery to accomplish that. Who wants to go through all that cost and inconvenience anyway, often some of these treatments are only a temporary fix.
We all want to maintain our youthful looks as long as possible, but you have to get real sooner or later. A 60 year old without any facial wrinkles at all looks pretty silly to me. However, a 60 year old with a nice well-moisturized skin and a good complexion, with only a few small wrinkles in the appropriate places looks great and natural.
So, don't be fooled into believing the advertising blurb we are fed daily. There are no two-day wonder skin cream treatments. However, there are natural wrinkle reducer creams on the market that can make a big difference given a little time, and by using them on a consistent daily basis, preferably twice a day. -Kathryn M.
